Bringing healthcare closer to members—right where they work
ValuCare officially launched VEE, its new self-service health kiosk, at Philippine National Bank (PNB) on November 7, 2025 at the PNB Head Office in Pasay City. This marks the first VEE deployment for a client, allowing PNB employees to conveniently check their basic health vitals anytime during the workday.
VEE stands for ValuCare E-Health Experience.
The launch was attended by the PNB HR and Engagement Team led by Lotus Altavas (Human Resource Group Head), together with Mary Ann Labanda (Division Head), and Zhaira Mae Baloloy (Department Head). From ValuCare, present were Dr. Elmer Palomata (President and CEO), Franz Araque (COO), Dr. Cristian Dela Cruz (Medical Director), Helen Terciano and Allan Quintia (Renewal Business Sales Managers), Franz Gerald Fabic (Renewal Business Account Manager), Michael Angelo Siapco (ICT Project Management Head), John Paul Tanion (System Developer), and Michelle Ciriacruz (Corporate Communications & Marketing Head) with Mary Jhyl Rulloda (Marketing Supervisor).
During the ceremony, PNB HR Group Head Lotus Altavas shared her excitement:
“VEE will help our employees stay on top of their health. It’s easy to use and accessible, and it supports PNB’s commitment to employee wellness. ValuCare has been our HMO partner for 15 years, and we share the same vision of bringing healthcare closer to our people.”
ValuCare COO Franz Araque also emphasized this goal during his message. He explained that VEE was conceptualized earlier this year as a way to give members simple, everyday access to basic health checks without needing to leave the office.
“We asked ourselves: how do we bring healthcare services closer to our members? What if employees could check their BP or weight without needing help from anyone? That’s how VEE was born.”
ValuCare Account Manager Franz Fabic shared a story from launch day. Several employees tried VEE and immediately saw elevated blood pressure readings. They went straight to the onsite clinic, consulted nurses, and received treatment.
A simple check helped prevent a possible health risk.
“As a doctor, I’ve always believed that timely checks can prevent big health problems. What happened on launch day proves it—VEE helped employees catch a concern early and get immediate care. That’s the kind of proactive health behavior we want to encourage,” ValuCare CEO Dr. Elmer Palomata affirmed.
VEE is a self-service health kiosk that syncs with the ValuCare SuperApp. Employees can check:
• Blood Pressure
• Temperature
• Height, Weight, & Body Mass Index (BMI)
• Blood Oxygen Level
All results automatically appear in the ValuCare SuperApp for easy tracking.
Data privacy is protected. The member’s information stays within ValuCare’s secure ecosystem, a proprietary technology developed by ValuCare for its clients.
VEE’s next phases include basic blood tests for:
This upgrade will only be launched once regulatory requirements are completed.
Once active, these tests will help employees monitor lifestyle-related conditions early and stay healthier over time.
VEE promotes proactive health checks, which can help reduce sick days and improve productivity. For employers, this means a healthier workforce and long-term savings.
“In the end, ang gusto lang talaga namin is for everyone to stay healthy and happy. We hope you enjoy using VEE and make it a part of your wellness routine,” ValuCare COO Franz Araque shares with PNB.
VEE is a joint project of ValuCare Marketing and ICT, shaped by the vision of ValuCare’s leaders and supported by the company’s medical team. It came to life through the help of Admin, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and many other departments—combining technology, user experience, and health expertise to bring members a simple, accessible way to stay on top of their wellness.
