(ValuCare) strengthens its partnership with Healthway Qualimed Manila, the premier multi-specialty day hospital conveniently located within the UP-PGH Faculty Medical Arts Building, through an expanded agreement that provides members access to discounted surgical packages.
ValuCare Members living or working in the Manila area continue to enjoy access to this state-of-the-art facility, which offers a myriad of medical services, including comprehensive laboratory services; advanced facilities for cancer diagnosis, outpatient chemotherapy, rehabilitation medicine and physiotherapy, and animal bite treatment; and a full range of specialists, from Pediatrics and Internal Medicine to Orthopedics and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
The enhanced partnership paves the way for more accessible, affordable, and compassionate healthcare for ValuCare members, especially those requiring surgical interventions.
Healthway Qualimed is a healthcare facility where patients receive medical treatment, procedures, tests, or rehabilitation during the day and return home the same day, without requiring overnight hospital stay.
Safe and efficient procedures are performed during the day, allowing patients to recover in the comfort of their own homes.
Its location offers ample parking and is easily accessible via public transportation. ValuCare Members can look forward to a convenient facility for their consultation and diagnostic needs. They need only present their ValuCare Card and Letter of Authorization (LOA) to avail themselves of the services.
Both requirements are available digitally in the ValuCare SuperApp, downloadable from the App Store and Play Store (search “VC Health”). Members simply need to register using their policy number and birthdate to access not only their virtual card and LOAs but also many other ValuCare services.
Consultation LOAs are automatically approved, while LOAs for elective procedures, lab services, and inpatient services are also processed quickly through the app.
