Value Care Health Systems (ValuCare) stepped into a new era of digital transformation on July 10 with the dazzling relaunch of its brand as The Care Changer. Held at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila, the milestone event signaled a bold move toward innovation while celebrating ValuCare’s 29th year of trusted service in the healthcare industry.
The evening brought together ValuCare’s valued clients, trusted business partners, healthcare providers, corporate leaders, shareholders, board members, and friends who have been part of the ValuCare story through the years. “The Care Changer” was more than an event theme — it was a declaration of who ValuCare is, what it believes in, and where it is heading.

Twenty‑nine years ago, ValuCare was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to make quality healthcare more accessible to Filipino families with dignity, compassion, and confidence. The healthcare landscape then was very different — technology was limited, access was fragmented, and expectations were simpler. Yet through every challenge, milestone, and transformation, ValuCare remained steadfast in its commitment to stand beside Filipinos during some of the most important moments of their lives.

Chief Operating Officer Franz D. Araque presented the innovations, describing them as a direct response to years of feedback. “A lot of what’s in this platform came from feedback we’ve heard over the years. We developed our innovations with the needs of our members, clients, and partners in mind,” Araque said.
ValuCare unveiled a suite of digital platforms designed to make healthcare simpler, faster, and more connected:
- SuperApp — A mobile app for members to manage their healthcare anytime, anywhere, with features like faster Letters of Authorization (LOA) approvals, provider search, reimbursement filing, and integration with health data from VEE kiosks.
- VC Live for Members — A browser‑based version of the SuperApp, offering the same streamlined features.
- VC Live for Providers — A portal for hospitals and clinics to verify membership eligibility, track and process LOA requests, and update procedure rates more efficiently.
- VC Link — A dashboard for HR teams to handle enrollments, cancellations, updates, and ID issuance in real time.
- ValuCare E‑Health Experience (VEE) — A self‑service health kiosk installed at client offices, syncing results directly to the SuperApp to promote preventive care and wellness.
Together, these innovations form the backbone of The Care Changer, ensuring that members, providers, and employers all benefit from faster service, reduced paperwork, and a smoother healthcare experience.
A ValuCare Account Manager demonstrates the ValuCare App to valued clients — showcasing faster LOA requests, quick provider search, simple reimbursement filing, and other features that make healthcare access more convenient for members.
A ValuCare Project Manager demonstrates the ValuCare E‑Health Experience (VEE) self‑service kiosk — enabling members to check vitals in minutes and sync results to the SuperApp. As part of ValuCare’s wellness initiative, VEE promotes proactive healthcare by making preventive checks simple and accessible for employees.
